Peace is Given by Jesus in
(John 14:27 KJV)  "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

Peace is a "fruit" of the Spirit in:
(Gal 5:22 KJV)  "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,"
(Gal 5:23 KJV)  "Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."

God's Wisdom is Peaceable in:
(James 3:17 KJV)  "But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy."
(James 3:18 KJV)  "And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace."

Gods Peace keeps us whole in body and mind
(Phil 4:6 KJV)  "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."
(Phil 4:7 KJV)  "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Christ's Disciples are admonished to live in Peace in:
(Rom 12:17 KJV)  "Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men."
(Rom 12:18 KJV)  "If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men."
(Rom 12:19 KJV)  "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord."

Jesus promised peace for His disciples, despite the activity of Satan. Peace is not the absence of external conflict. It is the power of internal security.

He sent the Holy Spirit to bring comfort and peace in our lives. If your life is fragmented and insecure, God is not at fault. He offers peace even for the sufferer.

The Spirit produces fruit in a Christian's life. The Spirit does not force us to be holy. He exerts His influence on us. The Spirit is present in our lives, reminds us of Christ and our call to discipleship.

God's wisdom saturates life with qualities which cement good relationships with other people.

The greatest need for Christ's disciples is peace, a life of wholeness, security, meaning, and hope. Through the power of the Spirit, Jesus' followers can have that peace.

Peace, "a fruit of the Spirit",  works out of the Christ full life of Christ's disciple and permeates all relationships the disciple has with all men.
