Peace is Given by Jesus in
(John 14:27 KJV) "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Peace is a "fruit" of the Spirit in:
God's Wisdom is Peaceable in:
Gods Peace keeps us whole in body and mind
Christ's Disciples are admonished to live in Peace in:
|
Jesus promised peace for His disciples, despite the activity of Satan.
Peace is not the absence of external conflict. It is the power of internal
security.
He sent the Holy Spirit to bring comfort and peace in our lives. If
your life is fragmented and insecure, God is not at fault. He offers peace
even for the sufferer.
The Spirit produces fruit in a Christian's life. The Spirit does not
force us to be holy. He exerts His influence on us. The Spirit is present
in our lives, reminds us of Christ and our call to discipleship.
God's wisdom saturates life with qualities which cement good relationships
with other people.
The greatest need for Christ's disciples is peace, a life of wholeness,
security, meaning, and hope. Through the power of the Spirit, Jesus' followers
can have that peace.
Peace, "a fruit of the Spirit", works out of the Christ full life
of Christ's disciple and permeates all relationships the disciple has with
all men.
